Before our evening adventure, Walter decided to check out the Ghost Bus for himself. Of course, dogs aren’t allowed on the bus, but he wanted to look over the exterior. He approached the Ghost Bus with a mix of caution and curiosity.

If you look closely at the pictures below, it seemed as if a spectral aura surrounded the Ghost Bus and Walter!😱

While Walter had fun, he eventually had to go home so that we could prepare for our evening out.

As the crisp October air descended on Edinburgh, we found ourselves eagerly anticipating our unique adventure. The perfect way to embrace the Halloween spirit, the eerie journey promised to unveil the darker side of the city in a truly spine-chilling fashion. We approached the bus stop, and the sight of the vintage black double-decker sent a shiver down my spine; it seemed to beckon me into its shadowy embrace.

We were greeted by our guide, Tommy Terror, whose sinister grin and theatrical flair set the tone for what was to come.

The atmosphere aboard the Ghost Bus was delightfully spooky, with its ambient lighting and vintage décor, it created the perfect setting for a night of supernatural exploration. We settled into our seat, eager to uncover the spectral secrets that lay hidden within the city's historic streets.

As the bus drove through the winding streets of the Old and New Towns, Tommy Terror brought Edinburgh's eerie history to life with gripping tales of hauntings and folklore. We don’t want to spoil the tour, but we can share that throughout the route we heard spooky stories, including ones about Greyfriars Kirkyard, known for its restless spirits, and the Royal Mile, where echoes of the past linger in the air. Tommy skillfully blended humour with horror and ensured that every twist and turn of the journey was entertaining. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of suspense and excitement, punctuated by the occasional jolt from the bus’s creaky suspension.

At one point, I swear I caught a glimpse of a shadowy figure peering from the darkness in St. Cuthbert's Kirkyard. Whether it was a trick of the light or something more, the experience sent a delightful chill down my spine.

By the end of the tour, as we returned to the starting point, I felt a strange mix of exhilaration and goosebumps. The Ghost Bus had delivered on its promise, offering a perfect blend of history and horror that left us thoroughly entertained and just a little bit spooked.
