In Memory of Sawyer

This page is in memory of our beloved canine tour guide, Sawyer. Sawyer was more than just a dog; he was a best friend, companion, and guide to all those who had the pleasure of ‘exploring and discovering’ Edinburgh with him. Sawyer provided countless individuals with memories that will last a lifetime.

Sawyer had a heart as big as the country he called home. Not only was he an integral part of our Edinburgh walking tours, but he also joined us on our travels around Scotland with a sense of adventure and excitement that was contagious. His boundless energy and enthusiasm for life inspired everyone who met him, and his legacy will continue to inspire us for years to come.

Although we are beyond heartbroken by Sawyer's passing, we will always cherish the memories we shared with him. We will never forget the incredible impact he had on our lives and the lives of those who met him- whether in Edinburgh or virtually through our blog and videos. We will continue our walking tours of Edinburgh, as well as our blog posts and videos of our travels around Scotland, in his memory.

Sawyer, you will always be the best canine tour guide that ever walked the streets of Edinburgh- we will never forget you. Everything we do is in honour of you.

In that spirit, we hope you will join us in our mission to keep Sawyer’s legacy alive whether it be on our walking tours of Edinburgh or our travels around Scotland!

You can read more in our tribute blog post to Sawyer- here. Additionally, while Sawyer was often in the spotlight, his two brothers, Stirling and Finn, were also an important part of our Wee Walking Tours family and have also crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. You can read more about them in our tribute blog posts here and here.
